    Skin Cancer Doctor, Male, B Med, Dip Derm, FRACGP, B Biomed Sci, FSCCA, M Med (Skin Cancer)

    Dr Tristan Hicks received his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012 and has worked exclusively in the field of skin cancer diagnosis and management since 2015. In 2019 he received his Fellowship of the Skin Cancer College Australasia. He holds numerous post-graduate advanced certificates in skin cancer and dermatology, has attended surgical masterclasses in advanced skin cancer surgical techniques, and has worked in the operating theatre as a surgical assistant for 5 years. He is an accredited doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia, and in 2022 completed his Masters of Medicine in Skin Cancer through the University of Queensland. He regularly teaches other doctors in the field of skin cancer and is a blog editor for the Skin Cancer College Australasia.

    Dr Hicks works full-time at Summerland Skin Cancer Clinic. He is committed to providing his community with access to expert, timely and affordable skin cancer care.   • Dr Michael Krumins

    Skin Cancer Doctor, Male, FACRRM, MBBS

    Dr Michael Krumins received his Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine in 2014, and holds the University of Queensland recognised HealthCert Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine, Professional Certificate in Dermoscopy and Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery. He is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. Michael is committed to excellent patient care in skin cancer medicine and surgery and is seeking to continually expand his professional knowledge and skills.

  • Dr Owain Roberts

    Skin Cancer Doctor, Male, MBBCh, FRACGP, Dip Prac Derm

    Dr Owain Roberts originally trained as a GP in the UK. He has practised as a specialist GP in Australia for over 10 years, with a special interest in skin cancer since 2016. Skin cancer is now his primary clinical focus. He is confident and experienced in non-surgical and surgical management of skin cancers including the use of flaps and grafts when appropriate.

Summerland Skin Cancer Clinic is centrally located in East Lismore in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, and services the people of Lismore, Casino, Kyogle, Alstonville, Ballina, Byron Bay, Evans Head and surrounding areas. Our region is a beautiful mix of scenic coast and emerald countryside, and only an hour south of the Gold Coast.

Summerland Skin Cancer Clinic aims to provide timely and affordable access to high quality, professional skin cancer assessment, diagnosis and management for our rural and coastal community. The doctors at the clinic provide full skin checks and spot checks, together with a comprehensive range of skin cancer treatment options, including both surgical and non-surgical methods.
