Dr Barron works by Booked Appointment. He works on a mixed billing structure. He does not consult by telephone with new patients.
Dr Barron was born and raised in Adelaide, earning his medical degree from the University of Adelaide.
After graduation he worked as a registrar in Emergency Medicine for several years, then relocating to Darwin where he entered General Practice .
After five years gaining experience in the demanding Top End, he moved to Sydney where he completed his Fellowship (specialization) in General Practice. He has been a GP in the Northern Beaches for the past 12 years.
Dr Barron has interests in paediatrics, adult chronic disease management, and mental health. In addition his extensive emergency experience entails he is very comfortable managing injuries and more urgent cases.
He enjoys surfing and sailing and playing classical guitar.
