Dr Crump moved to Toowoomba from North Queensland to settle and raise his family.

Originally a pharmacist in Townsville and Palm Island before studying medicine, he has interests in rural health, paediatrics, emergency medicine, Indigenous health and sports medicine.

Matt is also the acting Medical Superintendent of Oakey Hospital & Health Service

Outside of work, Dr Crump enjoys golf, football and gardening.

Dr Webb graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004. He worked for three years in Miles as the Principal Doctor at the hospital and as a general practitioner before moving to Toowoomba, where he has continued his general practice work.

Dr Webb began working at Kingsthorpe Medical Centre in 2013 and has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and surgery, gamily practice, emergency medicine and palliative care.

He also has a strong interest in education and works part time as a medical educator for Junior Doctors.

Dr Hannay graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 before working at the Toowoomba Base Hospital and Warwick Base Hopsital.

More recently he has worked at Condamine Medical Centre and Grand Central Medical Centre.

Dr Hannay joined the Oakey team in 2016.

In 2017, he qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He continues to work at the Oakey Hospital providing on-call and locum support.

Dr Worth completed her studies of medicine at the University of Queensland in 2011.

Since this time she has gained experience working at the Toowoomba Hospital and joined the Ochre Medical Centre (formally Downs Rural Medical) team in 2015 as a General Practice Registrar.

Dr Worth has a particular interest in chronic disease.

A 2014 graduate of the University of Queensland, Dr Yong joined the practice as a General Practice Registrar in 2016 following two years working at the Toowoomba Hospital.

With previous experience in college lecturing, Dr Yong has special interests in skin cancer medicine and men's health.

Dr Andrew Choo graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2011. He spent his first 2 years with the Western Sydney Local Health District, before moving to Queensland. He has been involved in General Practice since 2015, and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in January 2018.

When not at work, he is usually at home spending quality time with his wife, 2 kids and 2 dogs. He is a big fan of soccer and combat sports, and is also a self professed coffee aficionado.

Dr Seckler completed his medical training at the University of Hamburg in Germany in 1991.

After graduating, he completed two years at the hospital in Cologne before commencing his GP training in Bavaria.

Dr Seckler has spent six years working as a Medical Informatics Consultant during his career.

He has travelled and worked as a GP extensively around the world including South Africa, UK, Germany and now Australia.

Dr Seckler enjoyed his time as a locum GP in Longreach in 2000.

After this experience, he and his family permanently relocated to Australia in 2005. He has worked in Oakey as a GP since moving to Australia.

Dr Seckler has completed extra training in the area of aviation medicine and developed a strong special interest in this area.

Dr Sarah Ahmad moved to Australia in 2018 with her family. She initially worked in a couple of public hospitals in Sydney, NSW as a resident in various fields and then as Principal House Officer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. During this time, she completed her advanced diploma in women’s health. She decided to pursue training in general practice and re-located in Brisbane in 2022 and had the opportunity to work in a different specialties at the Ipswich Hospital. Finally, in 2023 she moved to Toowoomba to commence GP training. Along with learning and enjoying different aspects of general practice she has particular interest in women’s health, pregnancy care, paediatrics, skin conditions and chronic disease. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, trying new recipes and gardening

Dr Kavi was born in Sri Lanka and grew up in Canada, where he studied and attained a degree in pathology and diploma in business at the University of British Columbia. He then moved to Australia in 2019 to attain his medical degree at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and subsequently completed two years of hospital training in far North Queensland at Townsville University Hospital.

This experience allowed a breadth of clinical foundational knowledge by working across specialties including emergency, pediatrics, respiratory, rehabilitation, cardiology, and general medicine.

Outside of work, Dr Kavi enjoys traveling and has a goal of visiting all seven continents, having already explored five. Hobbies also include running, volleyball, and working towards earning a private pilot's license.

Dr Paras Dadiala was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, to an immigrant family from India. His path to medicine was unconventional, as he first gained work experience in diverse fields such as the arts, trades, science, and commerce before earning a biochemistry degree from the University of British Columbia.

In 2019, Dr Paras moved to Australia with his partner, where he completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. He then trained under Queensland Health, spending two years at Townsville University Hospital, where he honed his skills in general medicine, paediatrics, emergency medicine, cardiology, palliative care, rheumatology, and general surgery. He also spent time working at Ingham Hospital which further deepened his understanding of the challenges faced by smaller healthcare communities with limited resources.

In his personal time, he likes to stay active through boxing, hiking, and soccer, while he also enjoys cooking, music, and watching movies. Dr Paras looks forward to new experiences and temperate weather in the Toowoomba region, and contributing to the community’s healthcare needs at Ochre Medical Centre.
