If you’re experiencing symptoms suggestive of covid-19, please book a Telehealth appointment. Please ensure you are eligible for a telehealth before booking. To be eligible for a telehealth appointment, you must have had a face to face consultation within the last 12 months. If you are unsure if you meet medicare eligiblity, please contact our reception team prior to booking. We strongly encourage all patients to wear a mask.

Patient fees:
We bulk-bill children under 16, pensioner, concession, healthcare and DVA gold card holders. This only applies to standard GP appointments. Dr Jody Waters provides bulk billing to under 16 year old patients ONLY! All other patients may incur a private fee with a medicare rebate. Other services including Travel Clinic/travel vaccines, private dietitian & exercise physiologist appointments, occupational health, private procedures, and medicals may incur a private fee . Travel Clinic appointments may incur a private fee inline with our current fee structure. Standard Level B consultations $82.85 Level C consultations $122.90. Dr Jody Waters fees Standard Level B consultations $92.85. Level C Consultations $132.90. Please speak to our reception team prior to booking if you have any questions around Travel Clinic appointment costs.

For all other patients with a valid Medicare card:
• During ordinary hours (Monday –Friday 8am – 6pm, Saturday 8am – 1pm) we charge an out-of-pocket fee of $40 for a standard consultation
• During afterhours (Monday – Friday 7am-8am, Saturday 1pm-6pm, Sunday & Public Holidays) we charge an out-of-pocket fee of $50 for a standard consultation

Note, fees may differ for other consultation types, and for a minority of GPs. Dr Alexander Akinboye & Dr Farid Chalaby continue to Bulk Bill their current patients. This only applies to standard GP appointments. Dr Jody Waters bulk bills children under 16 years of age ONLY! All other patients may incur a private fee with a medicare rebate. Other services including Travel Clinic appointments may incur a private fee inline with our current fee structure. Occupational health, private procedures, medicals etc may incur a private fee . Please check our website for complete fee information or speak to our reception team if you have any questions prior to booking an appointment. Please ensure you read and understand our billing policy prior to booking. A non attendance fee of $55 will apply if you do not provide at least 4 hours notice of cancelling your appointment. This includes changing to another GP within 4 hours of your existing appointment and booking a telehealth appointment when you are not eligible. Please treat our team with respect, they are hear to help you. Aggressive, offensive or intimidating behaviour will not tolerated.
