Professional statement

Martine is passionate about assisting young people in building and strengthening their self-esteem and self-worth. She believes that everyone has unique value, and she enjoys supporting people in fostering their skills and strengths, as well as identifying helpful strategies for managing their difficulties.

Martine provides assessment of ADHD, supports children and families who are managing ADHD, and the related social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. She provides assessment and support for adults who suspect they may have difficulties related to ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also supports people of all ages who experience anxiety, stress, and some trauma-related difficulties.

Prior to working in private practice in Tasmania over the last 12 years, she worked as a school psychologist within the Launceston community, where she has built strong relationships with local schools and developed a sound understanding of how to support children socially and emotionally within the education system.

She has also worked within the child protection and juvenile justice systems in Queensland, and within the adult justice system and community youth work sectors in the United Kingdom.
